questions & answers

Q: What is an Interior Designer?
A: Professionally trained for the interior function, design and decoration of a client’s needs and their space, whether the client’s space is residential, commercial or industrial.

Studies closely with Architects and their Clients to determine the needs of the occupants, the structure of a space, the style and which will best suit both.

Through experience and examination, which a designer has gained through education, they can identify, research and creatively resolve issues that lead to a safe, healthy and comfortable physical environment.

Must know more than furniture, fabric and color. They must know materials, communicate well, possess budgeting skills, oversee the ordering, know the construction, capacity, safety and the installation and maintenance of all objects that define a space.
